Quite Simply: Innovation is Transformative.

Many Social Service Organizations (SSO’s) face multiple challenges developing innovative solutions to community challenges, including:

  • Funding models that discourage innovation by prioritizing evidenced-based practices and agencies with proven histories of success within current paradigms.
  • Lack of access to private funding that would allow agencies to experiment with out-of-the-box solution development.
  • Lack of agency/staff infrastructure to develop, grow and analyze innovative new program concepts.

  • When SSO’s are empowered to experiment with novel approaches to solving community problems, they are able to dramatically impact the lives of those they serve AND the approach to social service work in general. The LILIT Group seeks to bridge the gap between innovation and funding.
