The typical grant life cycle is:
- Proposal
- Annual Request for Proposals is issued January 1
- Review
- LILIT staff reviews submissions and determines finalists
- First Recommendations
- Finalist recommendations are presented to the Board of Directors
- Three to five programs are selected by the board to receive grants.
- Mentor Matching
- Grant Recipients are paired with LILIT Group mentors to refine and implement their projects
- One-Year implementation Period
- We spend a year together, changing the world in new and creative ways
- Peer Review
- Project outcomes are submitted for peer review by grant recipients in partnership with LILIT staff
- Renewal
- Projects deemed successful in the peer review phase become eligible to renew their grants for up to three years.
